Dr. Sophia Beynen at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehab focuses on three primary areas of treatment: Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Weight Loss and Regenerative Medicine. With over 15 years of experience in Primary Care, Dr. Beynen graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Carmel West, where she obtained a tremendous amount of hands-on experience.
The purpose of Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehab is to help as many people as possible recover their youthful health and vitality through the use of non-surgical physical rehabilitation.

A. Sophia Beynen, M.D., FACP
Dr. Sophia Beynen graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1997. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency in Columbus, Ohio at Mount Carmel Health Systems in 2000 and joined their Faculty practice. She left teaching in 2009 and went into private practice for the next 6 years. After 15 years in primary care, she was introduced to regenerative medicine when working at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehab. She pursued a Fellowship in Stem Cell therapies with the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine in 2017. She is passionate about using the body to heal itself by using regenerative modalities including, PRP.
Dr. Sophia Beynen at Buckeye Physical Medicine and Rehab has treated more than 1,000 patients. She takes an active role in each and every patient’s recovery process. For example, during the process, the patient is closely monitored through bloodwork draws before, 1 month in and at the end of each cycle. Patients review these results with the Medical Director on staff. Patients can also reach the office via email or phone during office hours.
